John and Judi, Wanted to let you know that Gary and I are thinking of you at this difficult time. Gary saw that “Red” was on his list at Mercy a week or so ago while he was distributing communion. Judi when I saw the notice in the paper so many fond memories of your mom came flooding into my mind. I remember riding in the car your parents had with the window that went down behind the second row seat. How awesome was that back in the days. She had such a welcoming smile and a fun filled laugh. We were blessed to have such loving mothers. I think it was my mom who went with us to our first and only cheerleading camp. We went to first session only to find all the other squads were dressed alike. We quickly went to bookstore and bought the same shirts so we wouldn’t look out of place. A few weeks ago I saw my granddaughter Gina cheer at John XXiii for the basketball games. She is 5. My heart couldn’t stop from racing as she cheered. Brought back many great memories when we cheered together. Was at a Badin girls basketball recently and guess who I saw – Carl. I know the past several years have been hard watching your mom not being the person she use to be. Rest assured that Jesus took her into His Loving Arms and has renewed her to the “Red” we all knew and loved. Echo from the skies as they greet “Red” by their side. Hugs and Love, Diana and Gary
