Mary was wonderful to me when I was principal at Saint Julie Billiart School from 1994 through 2002.Mary and I had fantastic conversations. We loved going out together for banana splits and other ice cream treats. I was so impressed that Mary met her husband on New Year’s Eve in Time Square. She also saw Paul Newman in person in a play in Philadelphia. I loved Mary’s stories. In 1994, I was new to Hamilton, Ohio, and Mary did all she could do to ease my transition to the Midwest. Mary was a fantastic friend. I will miss her. Sending love and prayers to her family.
