Personalizing Arrangements
While we are involved with death on a daily basis, we never forget that completing all the arrangements of a funeral service is a task most families face only a few times. Our intention is to help make every service personal and meaningful, and truly reflective of the life that was lived. While there are many different ways to personalize the service, here are some ways we can help:
Please feel free to discuss any idea’s or thoughts you may have with us. We are here to help you create a very meaningful service. Below are just a few options that families have requested that we have been able to provide.
Music: Music is a wonderful way to remember a life well lived. We offer families the ability to bring in their own music that reminds them of their loved one. This helps create a more meaningful environment for everyone. Another option is to retain an outside musician. Here we can assist by securing a harpist, guitarist, pianist, or vocalist. Bagpipe and bugle musicians are also available.
Video Tribute: Using your treasured photos and adding video footage and music, we can develop a personalized keepsake celebrating your loved one’s lifetime to share with family and friends and to pass down to future generations. The tribute video is an unique remembrance created especially for the families we work with and serve. Because we know the importance of capturing and saving precious memories, we want to help you remember your loved one in a way that helps show others how they lived. Family and friends will cherish the opportunity to continue to share moments from their loved ones’ lives together. Cherish your beautiful memories with our compliments. Both videotape and DVD formats are available.
Memorial Table: Nothing reflects the life of a loved one more than a memory table. Covered with family photographs, plaques, trophies, quilts, flowers, artwork and other mementos, a memory table or memory board can be set up at the visitation and/or the service.
Speakers: The person who has died has likely touched the lives of many people. For those who knew the deceased, it is often viewed as quite an honor to be asked to speak at the funeral. The speaker need not have a professionally written eulogy but rather may write something personal or select a favorite poem or scripture verse.
Photo Collage: This is a collage of 10 pictures, of the person who has died, that is given out to each individual as they come to the visitation & funeral. Many families rave that it is such a great keepsake.
