Alvin H. Fisher Jr., a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on January 6, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on October 28, 1948, in Hamilton, Ohio, he was a cherished son of Alvin H. Sr. and Susan (nee Rossi) Fisher.

Alvin’s early days were filled with warmth and faith as he met his future wife, Sharon Schollenbarger, during religious education at St. Ann's Catholic Church. Their love story flourished over the years, leading to a beautiful 53-year marriage. Following his high school education, Alvin dedicated himself to his work at Pepsi, where he remained a dedicated employee until his retirement.

Alvin found joy in life’s simple pleasures, particularly at his cherished cabin in Kentucky. There, he enjoyed fishing, boating, and hunting, eagerly looking forward to passing down his passion for the outdoors to his beloved grandsons, Bart A. H. Fisher Jr. and Aaron J.E. Fisher. He took great pride in sharing his favorite spots on the property, creating lasting memories with his family.

Alvin is survived by his loving wife, Sharon (nee Schollenbarger) Fisher; his dear son, Bart, and his wife, Irene; two cherished grandsons; and his beloved sister, Cecila (Gary) Overman. He is also survived by his caring brothers-in-law, Jack (Carol) and Dave Schollenbarger, who felt blessed to have him in their lives.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025, at 1:00 PM at St. Stephen’s Catholic Cemetery. The ceremony will include military honors, recognizing Alvin’s honorable service in the Army.

Alvin will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. May his memory be a blessing.
