Anna Peel McDaniel, , age 90, formerly of Hamilton, went to be with the Lord , Monday, April 4, 2011, after a long fight with Alzheimer’s disease. She was born in Berea, Ky. on September 23, 1920, the daughter of Hugh and Elsie (Anderson) Peel. She loved working with people and especially loved children. She was a caring mother and wife who would give anything to someone in need and dearly loved her family and friends. She leaves behind her children, Joy Glassmeyer, Donna (Gary) Kinsell, Gary McDaniel, and Darrell (Becky) McDaniel; many beloved grandchildren, great- grandchildren and step grandchildren; other family members, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elsie Peel; husband, George McDaniel and three sisters, Gladys Mooney, Jean McGuire and Jodi Viars. Special thanks to the caregivers and friends at McAuley Center in Urbana, Ohio for all their hard work and love they provided to her during her stay. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Miami Valley Chapter, 3797 Summit Glen Drive G100, Dayton, Ohio 45449. Visitation will be Thursday, April 7 at the Colligan Funeral Home, 437 S. 3rd Street, Hamilton from noon until time of 2:00 PM Services with Pastor Don Dewey of St. Clair Avenue Baptist Church officiating.
