Audrey Haslit

Audrey Mae (nee Robbins) Haslit, of Hamilton, Ohio died Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Bayley Place, Delhi, Ohio. She was born in Middlesboro, Kentucky on October 21, 1924, the daughter of John Gillis Robbins and Mamie (nee Dalton) Robbins. On August 31, 1940, in Middlesboro, Kentucky, James Haslit and Audrey Mae Robbins married. She devoted her life to her family and her faith. She was a member of St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church. Audrey is survived by four children, James (Patricia) Haslit of Evendale, Jerry (Judy) Haslit of Naples, Florida, Mary Haslit of Fairfield and Patricia (Raymond) Valerio of Hamilton; four grandchildren, Joshua (Jennifer) Sosby, Carey (Michael) Vagedes, Andrew Haslit and Amanda Haslit and four great grandchildren, Anthony Sosby, Meredith Sosby, Isabella Vagedes and Luke Vagedes. Audrey was preced in death by her husband, James Patrick Haslit; her brother, Cecil Robbins and sisters, Mildred Goins and Louise Hopper. Family and friends will be received at Colligan Funeral Home, 437 S 3rd Street, Hamilton, Ohio 45011 from 6-8 PM on Thursday, February 21, 2019. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church, 382 Liberty Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio 45013 at 10 AM Friday, February 22, 2019 with the Rev. Robert K. Muhlenkamp. In lieu of flowers, Masses offered for the repose of the soul of Audrey would be appreciated.
