Barbara Hammond

Barbara (Rinck) Hammond passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at Hospice of Hamilton. She was born in Hamilton on February 14, 1943 to Clinton “Bob” and Dorothy (Zimmers) Rinck. She worked 20 years for the Fairfield School District as a school bus driver. In 1961 she married Harold Hammond. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She leaves behind her husband of 50 years, Harold; three daughters, Christa (Kevin) Foley of Los Angeles, California, Marcy (Scott) Boyles of Liberty, Indiana and Melissa Hammond-Miller and friend, Mike Mason of Hamilton. Known to her grandchildren as “Me Me”, she leaves behind, Taylor and Kylie Foley of Los Angeles, California; Jacob and Robbie Boyles of Liberty, Indiana and Nicole, Robbie, Trever and Brendan Miller of Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan. She also leaves a sister, Sully (Gary) Thomas of Hamilton and a brother, Michael Rinck of Malabar, Florida. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. The family would like to thank the staff at Hospice of Hamilton for the wonderful care, especially Liz, Evelyn, Trish, Nan and Dr. Bill Krall. Visitation will be Friday, July 22, 2011 at the Colligan Funeral Home from 11:00 AM to time of services at 1:00 PM, Pastor Jacob Flannery officiating. Interment in Rose Hill Burial Park.
