ST.JOHN, Betty, age 86, passed away 3:00 AM Sunday, November 18,2007 at Garden Manor. The daughter of Karl and Luella (Conway) Brehm, she was born in Hamilton on March 18,1921 and grew up in Lindenwald. She was a member of the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church for many years. Betty was united in marriage to Donald C. St.John. She and Don were active supporters of the VFW Post 1069. Betty was a member of the women’s auxillary and Don served as Commander at both the local and state levels. Betty retired from Ohio Casualty at age 65. Mrs. St. John was a poll worker for 10-15 years in Fairfield, volunteered her time with the Meals on Wheels Program, was an avid walker, enjoyed square dancing and people enjoyed spending time with her.Survivors include three children and their families; Donald (Joyce) St. John of Hamilton , Jim (Louise) St. John of Franklin and Jane (Dr. John) Pence of Summerville, South Carolina; five grandchildren, Jennifer (Joshua) Campbell, Charles (Kelly) St.John, Tim (Jen) St. John, Graham and Kyle Olber; three great grandchildren, Shannon,Chase and Katlyn St.John and many friends.Preceded in death by her parents, her husband,Don, January 5,1986 and two brothers Karl and Kenneth Brehm.Memorials may be directed to Alzheimers Research. Visitation will be at the Colligan Funeral on Tuesday, November 20,2007 from 10:00 AM til time of services at twelve noon. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery
