Brandon (Bingo) Gregory Henderer

June 2, 1984 — January 20, 2025

West Chester

Brandon Gregory Henderer, affectionately known as "Bingo," left this world peacefully on January 20th, 2025. He was born on June 2nd, 1984, in Hamilton County to Dianne Fowler and Gregory Henderer. Brandon had a vibrant spirit that resonated with everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him; he was truly the life of the party. His infectious smile and hugs. His charismatic nature were complemented by his undeniable passion for music. As a talented performer, he took great pride in his work with DJ Bingo and the Party People, as well as the Surge Community.

Brandon's love for music was matched only by his enthusiasm for karaoke. In 2024, he proudly tied for first place in the Best of Butler County karaoke competition, a testament to his talent and love for entertaining others. His favorite mottos, "LFG" and "I love you Dood," reflect his vibrant personality and his desire to spread joy and love wherever he went. Whether he was playing air guitar or simply sharing a laugh, he possessed a remarkable ability to keep the party going and uplift the spirits of those around him.

Brandon leaves behind a loving family, including his mother Dianne (Gary Brown) Fowler Brown, and his father Gregory Alvin (Tina) Henderer. His four cherished children: Elizabeth Barkhau-Coppock, Damian, Kaleb, & Marli Henderer, were the lights of his life, and their mother Amanda Henderer. He is also survived by his brother, Jesse Roy Henderer; step brothers: John Brown, Adam Brown, Derek Brown & Benjamin Brown, Keith Good; step sister Kindyl Doherty, along with aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, all of whom will miss him tremendously.

Brandon is preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Wendell and Judith Fowler, and Leroy and Esther Henderer. His passing leaves a void that will be felt not only by his family but also by the hundreds of close friends who were fortunate enough to know him.

"Love always wins," a motto Brandon embraced, serves as a guiding light for those who continue to carry his memory in their hearts. He will be remembered for his love of life and the indelible mark he made on everyone he met. Brandon loved each and everyone of his friends and family. Always remember to Live your Dash. (see poem below.)

A Celebration of Brandon's life will be held on Friday, April, 11, 2025 from 5 pm to 9 pm at the Michael J. Colligan Lodge, 20 New London Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45013.

"The DASH"  By Linda Ellis

I read of a man who stood to speak at the funeral of a friend. He referred to the dates on the tombstone from the beginning to the end. He noted first came the date of the birth and spoke the following date with tears. But he said what mattered most of all was the dash between the years. For that dash represents all the time that they spent life on Earth. And now only those who loved them know what that little line is worth. For it matters not how much we own, the cars, the house, the cash. What matters is how we live and love, and how we spend our dash. So, think about this long and hard. Are there things you'd like to change? For you never know how much time is left that can still be rearranged. If we could just slow down enough to consider what's true and real, and always try to understand the way other people feel. Be less quick to anger and show appreciation more, and love the people in our lives like we've never loved before. If we treat each other with respect and more often wear a smile, remembering that this special dash might only last a little while. So, when your eulogy is being read with your life's actions to rehash, would you be proud of the things they say about how you spent your dash?
