Dale F. Rady, age 71, of Hamilton, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2015. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of John A and Charlotte (Arnold) Rady, on August 26, 1943. Dale served His country with honor in the U S Navy from 1960 – 1964. He was a boiler tender on the USS Valley Forge, USS Princeton and Tug Boat McCaw and boots on the ground – Cambodia to re-supply “military advisors”. He was Past President of Hamilton Street Rods, a Kentucky Colonel, member of the NRA and played Santa Claus for many years. He retired from Avon Products, Springdale September 1999 after 29 years. His Avon associates remained his close friends all of his life as did so many of his fellow street rodders. Dale was a “good guy”, lost in the 50’s and was an excellent mechanic.He loved Fords, John Wayne, Hockey and mechanical antiques. We will miss his wit and intelligence until we see him again in eternity. Survived by his wife, Kathy (Massey) Rady; daughters, Susan McCallum, Lisa Davis, Tami Rady-Burns and Kelley Rady; son, Todd Waller; sister, Christine Barrett; brother-in-law, Charles Barrett; nieces, Tracey and Kim and mourned by his dogs, Hoss and Babe. Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Alan and sister Irma. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Monday, June 15, 2015 at the Colligan Funeral Home.
