Daun Marie Preston

Daun Marie Preston, age 75, passed away in Fairfield, Ohio on September 17, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Daun was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 11, 1947 and was a graduate of Lockland High School where she excelled in several sports. She and the love of her life, Victor Preston, were married for 54 years. Daun worked for a time at Franklin Savings and Loan. She and Vic took great pride and joy in raising and enjoying their children, grandchildren, and great grandson. Daun was preceded in death by her parents, Calvin Edward and Betty Jean (Robson) Surber, brother Michael Surber, and sister Paula Alf. She is survived by her devoted husband, Victor Preston; daughters Michele (Gayle Ronkin), Kristy (Ryan Stagg), and Carrie Mancuso; grandchildren Sarah Nickerson, Jacob Nickerson, Phineas Stagg, and Sophia Mancuso; and great grandson Axel Nickerson. She is also survived by in-laws Pam Surber, Bob Alf, and several nieces and nephews. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
