David Jones

JONES, David W., age 78, of Hamilton, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2009. He was born in Manchester, Kentucky on August 2, 1930, the son of Beckham and Sarah (Webb) Jones. He retired from the Hamilton Foundry in 1986.Survived by ten children; Denise (Mike) Dermon, Davida (Jimmy) McKinney, Dawanda, Patricia (James) Eversole, Linda Jones (Rick Eversole), David William Jones Jr., Harry Henry (Viola) Jones, Robert Beckam Jones, James A. (Wendy) Jones and Sarah Jones; fifteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two brothers, Clarence (Edra) Jones and Yancy (Bonnie) Jones; two sisters, Rosetta Jones and Virginia Jones; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of forty-six years, Mary L. Jones; one grandchild and one great grandchild. Visitation will be Monday, May 11, 2009, at the Colligan Funeral Home, 437 S. 3rd Street, Hamilton, from 11:00 AM til time of services at twelve noon, Rev. James Borup officiating.
