Dennis J Kelly

The Lord called Dennis J. Kelly home on January 20, 2021 at the age of 72. He was born in Wapakoneta, OH on May 9, 1948 to the late Irene (Byrne) Kelly and Bernard Kelly. Denny attended St. Joseph's Catholic High School in Wapakoneta and graduated from Greenville Senior High in 1966 then attended Wright State University. He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Pam (Theobald) Kelly; his two daughters, Kathleen Fitzgerald married to Edward Fitzgerald and Denise Kelly; step-children, Amy Gray-Blizzard, married to Katie and Joseph Smallwood married to Mandi; his 8 grandchildren, Katie (18), Donovan (16), Caraline (14) Fitzgerald, Kendal (25), and Kelleen (22) Legge, Kelsey Blizzard (25), Joey (10) and Jayden (7) Smallwood; 7 siblings, Sylvia Kelly Pressnall (Mike deceased), Dianne Blocher ( Steve deceased), John M. Kelly (Marcia), Fr. David Kelly,Jim Kelly (Dawn), Tom Kelly, Shelia Roth (Todd) and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Denny was a lifelong entreprenneur, Co-Founding Kedell Builders & Pools, American Insulation Co., Sun, Fun & Fitness Inc., and Founded, Kelly Homes LLC. Denny also worked as a Realtor and early in his career as a District Manager for American Finance Co.. Denny enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren; he loved hunting with family and friends; he never missed "Opening Day" for 50+ consecutive years and he also enjoyed playing golf prior to his illness. Denny fought a long and hard battle with cancer for close to 4 years. He will be greatly missed as he positively impacted and influenced many lives.
