Dolores H.(Armbrust) Kramer, 88, formerly of Fairfield, passed away on Monday, October 25, 2010 at Mercy Franciscan at Schroder. The daughter of Leopold and Helen (Sheyer) Armbrust, she was born in Hamilton on September 15, 1922. Dolores was a 1940 graduate of Notre Dame High School. On August 31, 1946 she was united in marriage to Edward Kramer. Dolores worked and loved the family owned business, the Armbrust Brothers Bakery, until it closed in 1960. For a number of years, she was employed at Kihm Chevrolet, retiring in 1968. She leaves behind her son, John P. and a devouted daughter-in-law, Lynda Kramer; a loving granddaughter, Noelle (Jim) Sizemore; twin great-grandsons, Jackson and Landon Sizemore; sister, La Verne W. Colligan and brother, Leo (Pauline) Armbrust; numerous nieces and nephews and friends.She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ed; brother Sgt John N. “Buzzy” Armbrust USMC who died at Iwo Jima; two sisters, Margie Laney and Mary Welsh and other family members. Visitation Friday at Schroder from 9:30 AM til 10:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial. Burial in St. Stephen Cemetery. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the entire staff at Schroder who provided excellent care to Dolores and were more than friends, they were family.
