Edward Stroble

Edward C. Stroble of Trenton, OH, passed away on June 7, 2017 at the age of 69. Ed was born on July 13, 1947 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Edward and Edna (nee Haverty) Stroble. He was the older brother of Colleen, William, and Ardath. Ed graduated from University of Cincinnati and was a mechanical Engineer at Ransohoff Inc.. Ed enjoyed sailing in his younger years. Loved anything sweet to eat and enjoyed the outdoors. Avid UC Basketball fan and didn’t like his photo taken however, he was a wonderful photographer. Many people have hobbies and Ed’s hobby and love was to help others. He guided and gave the hopeless hope by being an AA sponsor. Ed would take calls at all hours of the day and night to help someone. He touched many lives. Those surviving who will honor his memory are his loving wife: Diana (nee Runyan) Stroble, bonus son: Kevin (Victoria) Rodgers; siblings: Colleen (Stan) Larsgaard, William (Lisa) Stroble and Ardath Stroble. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his bonus son Andy Rodgers and parents: Edward and Edna (nee Haverty) Stroble. Visitation on Sunday, June 11, 2017 from 3 PM until the time of the funeral service at 6 PM at Colligan Funeral Home, 437 South 3rd St., Hamilton, OH 45011. Graveside services will be held on Monday, June 12, 2017 at 10:30 AM at Butler County Memorial Park, Hamilton, OH.
