Edwin L. (Ed) Venturini was called to the Lord on Thursday, April 18, 2013. Born to John Domenico and Dorothy Venturini. Cherished brother of the late John Venturini and Dolly (Jack) Carmine. Beloved husband of Mariangela Venturini (nee Spinelli), the late Jane Venturini (nee Atchley) and Jean Dye (nee Brussat). Devoted father of Tony (Sharon), Paul (Bobbie), Mike (Carol) and Elizabeth Venturini. Loved step-father of Judy (Rick) Overhulz and Peggy Atchley. Joyous grandfather to 14 and great-grandfather to 21. Ed proudly served with the Navy in WWII and with the Army during the Korean War. After graduating from UCLA, he worked and retired from General Electric in Evendale as an engineer and crash investigator with the FAA. Ed passionately embraced his Italian heritage, had a great affection for golf and a remarkable ability to repair and tinker with varing projects. The vsitation will be at the Colligan Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 24th, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Mass will be held at St. Peter and Chains Church at 10:00 pm on Thursday, April 25th. Following the Mass, the patriach of the Venturini Family will be laid to rest at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hamilton, Ohio
