Photo & Obit for Tuesday Hamilton————————-DENNY, Elsie W., age 85, of Hamilton, passed away Easter Sunday, April 4, 2010 at Hospice of Hamilton. The daughter of Woolery and Dora (Richie) Hamblin, she was born in Hamilton on November 19, 1924. Mrs. Denny , a Registered Nurse, was a valued employee of General Motors for many years before retiring on January 1, 1990. Previously she had been employed at Mercy Hospital of Hamilton and McCullough-Hyde Hospital of Oxford. On June 4, 1965, Elsie was united in marriage to Robert E. Denny. She is survived by husband, Bob; daughters, Deborah Thornton, Billie Jo Klopfenstein and Marianna Woods; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Joseph Hamblin. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Peter In Chains Church, 382 Liberty Ave., Hamilton, Oh 45013. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6-8 PM at the Colligan Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM Thursday at St. Peter In Chains Church. Entombment in St. Stephen Mausoleum.
