ISAACS, Estes “Ike”, age 92, of Overpeck, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2009. He was born June 10, 1917, in Madison County Kentucky, the son of Henry and Lily (Powell) Isaacs. PFC Isaacs, U S Army, served his country with honor from August 8, 1941 to June 10, 1945. Foreign service of three years, one month and fifteen days included the South Pacific, Australia and New Guinea. On March 12, 1946, he was united in marriage to Narcissia A. “Sissy” Moore and to this union three children were born. Estes was a plant operator with American Material for thirty five years. He was a devoted father, grandfather and great grandfather, a kind hearted man who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include his son, Kenneth Isaacs; daughter, Tammy (David) Adelsperger; daughter in law, Sue Isaacs; five grandchildren, Jason (Amy) Isaacs, Janelle (Dan) Davidson, Kendra (Clyde) Taylor, Leslie (Joseph) Suttles and Tara Adelsperger; four great grandchildren, Matthew Taylor, William Isaacs, Avery “Sissy” Taylor and Gracie Suttles; brother, Ervin Isaacs ; two sisters, Dollie Callahan and Gertrude Anglin; many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sissy Isaacs in 2005; son , Estes “June Bug” Isaacs in 1980; four brothers and one sister. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-8 PM at God’s Temple. 3600 Millikin Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45011. Funeral service will be conducted 10:00 AM Thursday at God’s Temple with Pastor Valerie Trissell officiating.
