Gloria Boyd

Gloria ” Carol ” Boyd, age 64, of Hamilton, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at Hospice of Hamilton. She was born August 9, 1947 in Hamilton, the daughter of Chester and Ella Adams. Carol was a 1965 graduate of Garfield High School. She had been employed at Ohio Casualty and Life Span. Carol played the piano, she loved to travel, meet people and see different places. She loved her family, her son was her pride and joy, she loved her son’s wife, Michelle, her grandson and was hoping to greet the new baby. Carol, a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother, is survived by her husband, William Boyd; son, Frank (Michelle) Boyd; grandson, Kyle Boyd; two brothers, Jerry (Shirley) Adams and Rick (Janice) Adams; one sister, Barbara Hale; cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Phyllis Vinnedge. Memorials may be directed to Queen of Peace Church, Hospice of Cincinnati – Hamilton Unit or to Mercy Franciscan at Schroder. Visitation Monday, June 18, 2012 at Queen of Peace Church from 11 AM til time of Mass of Christian Burial at 1 PM. Burial in St. Stephen Cemetery.
