RIBAR, Irene M., 95, passed away at her Fairfield residence to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 13, 2010. Irene, the daughter of Stephen and Katherine (Buchek) Ribar, was born on May 14, 1914, in New Miami, Ohio. Sergeant Ribar, US Army, served during WW II with 1 year, 6 months, 12 days of foreign service and was awarded the European – Africian – Eastern Service Medal. She received a honorable discharge on April 26, 1946 at Fort Dix, New Jersey. Miss Ribar attended the Hamilton Business College. For 33 years she was a valued employee of Fisher Body. Irene is survived by her brother, George John Ribar and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Teresa Rowe, Mary Agnes Imfeld and Margaret Hahn. Visitation will be held at St. John Neumann Church, 12191 Mill Rd. (Winton Rd.) Cincinnati, Ohio 45240 on Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. Mass of Christian Burial to follow.Burial will be at St. Stephen Cemetery, Hamilton, with military honors. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to St. John Neumann Church.
