John Dozier

On Monday, November 15, 2010 the world lost a great man. John was a different man to a lot of people but no matter who you ask they would say he was a good man who would do any thing for you if he could. Born December 7, 1955 to Maude (Lanter) and John R. Dozier, both deceased. John had two sisters, Sue Patton (deceased) and Joan Wilburn. Preceded in death by his son, James Michael Dozier. John leaves behind his loving wife, Beverly Dozier; son, John J. Dozier; granddaughter, Karmella Dozier , other family members and numerous friends who will no doubt keep him in their memories and heart for the rest of their lives. John worked hard for his whole life from being a mechanic in his younger years to working for mutliple police forces including Hanover Township, Butler County Deputy, Seven Mile and most importantly the Ross Township Police Department in which he obtained the rank of Police Chief and from which he retired.Visitation will be Friday, November 19, 2010 from 5pm – 8pm at the Colligan Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Saturday, November 20, 2010 at the funeral home with Elder Denny Fields officiating. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
