John Osso

John M. Osso, age 93, of Hamilton, passed away Thursday, December 4, 2014. He was born on April 1, 1921 to immigrant parents, Salvatorre and Assunda (Deligatti) Osso. He was a 1940 graduate of Hamilton Catholic High School and a 1944 graduate of Miami University. John was an industrial engineer with Black Clawson for his entire career. Upon retirement, he volunteered as Business Manager for St. Julie Billiart Church for many years. He was also a Eucharistic Minister and Chaplain for the Church, visiting the sick in hospitals for many years. John was a caring, compassionate and generous man who cared for others throughout his life and was loved by all.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters, Mary Osso Cox and Josephine Osso and his brothers, Anthony Osso, Robert Osso and Leonard Osso. He is survived by many dear friends and relatives.

Visitation will be at Queen of Peace Catholic Church from 10:00-11:00 am on Wednesday, December 10 followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to Queen of Peace Catholic Church or Badin High School.
