Josephine Zellner

Josephine Ann “Jo Ann” Zellner, age 89, of Hamilton, went Home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 16, 2013. She was born in Hamilton on March 6, 1924, the daughter of Noble and Catherine (Phillips) Frazier. Jo Ann was a 1942 graduate of Hamilton High School. On June 26, 1948, she was united in marriage to Vernon Lee Zellner and to this union seven children were born. She had been employed at 1st National Bank for eight years and was a member of St. Julie Billiart Church. Jo Ann , a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her children, Deborah Zellner, Karen (Mark) Fiemeyer, David (Beth) Zellner and Donna (Larry) Beebe; twelve grandchildren, Katie Weisbrod, Lance Fiemeyer, Randy Zellner Jr., Kelsey Zellner, Ben Zellner, Cheryl Workman, Tammy Zellner, Tim Zellner, Tari Williams, Tracy Zellner, Stacy Richmond and Jason Beebe; twelve great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; infant daughter, Catherine; two sons, Steven Zellner and Randall Zellner; sister, Julia Ziepfel and two infant sisters. In lieu of flowers, please direct memorials to Alzheimers – Dementia, Ohio Chapter or the American Cancer Society. Visitation will be Saturday, July 20th at the Colligan Funeral Home, 437 s. 3rd Street, Hamilton from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM at St. Julie Billiart Church. Burial in St. Stephen Cemetery.
