Keith Isaacs

Keith Edward Isaacs, age 69, of Hamilton passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Tuesday, September 13, 2011. He was born in Hamilton on June 22, 1942, the son of Ralph and Virginia (Chasteen) Isaacs. Keith was employed for thirty-five years as a chemical engineer at Western States Machine Company and later was employed as a custodian for the Hamilton City Schools. Mr. Isaacs was an organ donor. An avid golfer, he loved to play and enjoyed making golf clubs. He loved music and every evening he took a walk listening to his favorite, the Beatles. He also loved to hand out bubble gum to the neighborhood children and earned the name,” Mr. Keif, the Bubble Gum Man “. He often took his grandchildren as well as the neighborhood children to the park to play, he always had time for them. A loving husband , father and grandfather, he is survived by his wife of 47 years, Lavolia “Boots” (Harris) Isaacs; three daughters, Debbie (David) Wilson, Colleen (James) Moore and Staci Isaacs all of Hamilton; seven grandchildren, Samantha, Katie, Dalton, Noah, Colton, Jaydn and Jevan; four brothers, Richard (Lynn) Isaacs of Hamilton, Mark Isaacs of Idaho, Ralph Isaacs of Texas and Harless (Sharon) Rowland of Kentucky and one sister, Linda (Gary) Graham of Kentucky.
