Leona Landi

Leona Marie Landi, 47, of Hamilton, passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2010 after a courageous and hard fought battle with cancer. Leona was born January 28, 1963 in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of Patrick J. and Arleen (Margiotta) Landi. A 1981 graduate of Badin High School, Leona was employed in retail wth Elder Beerman before becoming employed with the Butler County Child Support Enforcement Agency as an Investigator. Leona will be sadly and greatly missed by her family; parents, Arleen Landi and Patrick (Linda) Landi; two sisters, Jeryl (Daniel) Smith and Beth (Mike) Willer; one brother Ryan (Amy Overmyer) Landi; eight nieces and nephews, Christopher, Nichole and Sara Smith, Amanda Brunck, Nicholas and Alexander Willer and John and Evelyn Landi; one aunt, uncles and other family members. She also leaves behind close friends, Theresa Mayo, Margo Earl and her Wednesday night Tripoli group, Penny Crone, Marilyn Burckhardt, Sandy Carol Combs, Sandy Smith, Vicki Vaughn, Debbie Dye and Joan Troche. The family of Leona Landi would like to extend their appreciation and thanks to the Fourth Floor Nursing Staff, Third Floor ICU Nursing Staff and all the many doctors at Mercy Fairfield for their excellent care.
