Lillian Sarringhaus

Lillian (Meloy) Sarringhaus, age 91, of West Chester, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2016.
She was born and raised in Lebanon, Ohio. She graduated in 1942 from Lebanon High School. She was a homemaker and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR). Lillian was an avid quilter and seamstress.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 47 years, Paul R. Sarringhaus, who starred on the 1942 Ohio State University National Championship football team. She was also preceded in death by her father and mother, George A. Meloy, Sr., and Frances (Gallaher) Meloy and by her brother, George A. Meloy, Jr. (Mary).
She is survived by a son, Kurt G. Sarringhaus (Marcia), of Oberlin, Ohio; a daughter, Lisa A. Morris, of West Chester, Ohio; three (3) granddaughters, Lauren Sarringhaus (Jeffrey Mouton) of Oundle, United Kingdom; Marisa Parella (Michael) of Chicago, Illinois; and Meredith Sarringhaus of New Orleans, Lousiana; three (3) great-grandchildren, Royce Mouton, Beatrice Mouton, and Caroline Parella; and a nephew, George A. Meloy III, of Lebanon, Ohio. Visitation will be Friday, February 19, 2016 at the Colligan Funeral Home, 437 South 3rd Street, Hamilton, Ohio 45011. The family will receive friends fron 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the funeral home prior to the service. Burial in Rose Hill Burial Park, Hamilton, Ohio.
