Lois Riedel

Lois Ann Riedel , age 81 of Hamilton, passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2013. She was born in Hamilton on November 3, 1932, the daughter of John P. and Esther (Vogt) Clair. Lois was a 1950 graduate of Fairfield High School. In 1954 she was united in marriage to Donald Riedel and to this union six children were born. After her children were reared, she returned to the work place, retiring from Fernald as a senior secretary after fifteen years of service. Her loves were being a member of the Millville Homemakers, flower gardening and using her skillful sewing talents to help others including the Tabernacle Society. As an active 60 year member of Queen of Peace Church she was involved with numerous groups. Survivors include her husband, Don Riedel; five children, Connie (Jim) Rigling, Paul (Kathy) Riedel, Joe (Jenny) Riedel, Donna (Bob) Davis and Tom (Amy) Riedel; 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; special nieces, Jackie and Karen. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Chris and brother Jacque Clair.Visitation will be 5:00 PM-8 :00 PM Friday at the Colligan Funeral Home and on Saturday at Queen of Peace Church from 10:00 AM til time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Burial in St. Stephen Cemetery.
