Marilyn Milbauer passed away peacefully on July 7, 2011, at Hospice of Hamilton. She is the beloved wife of Jack Milbauer. Mayliyn was born on December 30, 1934, in Hamilton, to the late Harry and Silvea Kulback. Following her graduation in 1952 from Hamilton High School, she went to work for the Navy Department in Washington, D.C. It was there that she met Jack, her husband of fifty-seven years. While in Washington, Marilyn was a memberof the Cherry Blossom Festival Court, as Miss Kansas. The couple returned to Hamilton where they raised their three children; Jeffrey Milbauer (Kathy), Natalie Herman (Steve), and Julie Slusher (Steve). Marilyn was a valued public servant, working for some eighteen years at the Butler County Board of Elections. The joy of Marilyn’s life was her grandchildren. They are; Jaime (Milbauer) Winans, Rachel (Farler) Gill (Josh), Erin Herman, Carrie, Farler, Cory (Slusher)Williams (Wes), Dustin Slusher and Samuel Milbauer. Great grandchildren; Andrew Winans, Zackary Winans, Jacob Winans, Brady Flick, Sofia Gill, Hannah Herman, Lyla Williams and Blaine Williams. Marilyn is also survived by beloved sister and brother, Nancy Simkow and M.Myron Kulback as well as her uncle, Norman Lowitz (Sylvia), many cousins, nieces and nephews. Also surviving are her dear friends, Lyle and Joanne Moore. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Rozella Katzin. Marilyn will be dearly missed by her many loving family members and friends.The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Marilyn’s memory to Hospice of Hamilton or a charity of one’s choosing.
