Mary Getz

Mary J., age 80, of Fairfield, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2012. She was born in Hamilton on March 29, 1932, the daughter of Herman and Helen (Caldwell) Seifert. Mary was united in marriage to Billye Getz on May 1, 1954 and to this union three children were born. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include her children, Carol (John) Mann, Dennis Getz and Linda Getz; two grandchildren, Kathi (Kris) Walker and Steve (Wendi) Mann; four great-grandchildren, Jenson, Marissa, Lily and Carson; sister, Margie Keller; a special niece, Barbara Fackey; numerous nieces, nephews and her babies, Nina and Allena. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Billye Getz. Prayer service will be 9:15 AM Thursday, January 3, 2013 at the Colligan Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM Thursday at St. Ann Church. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 2, 2013 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
