Mitchell Goldkopf

GOLDKOPF, Mitchell “Mitch”, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at the age of 72. He was born in the Bronx, New York on July 27, 1937 to Isadore and Florence Goldkopf. Mitch was married to Florence Caro on January 27, 1968 in Staten Island, New York. He was owner/operator of Rapid Sign Inc. and later worked as a car dealer at Superior Hyundai, both in Fairfield. Mitch was an avid Yankees and Giants fan and was a friend to everyone he met. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Florence; his children Francine (Jerry) Ross and Steven Goldkopf; his grandchildren, Stephanie Goldkopf and Mitchell and Paula Ross; and brother, Raymond. Preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Leonard and Alfred. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Center or the American Cancer Society.
