Patricia Ann Marcum

Patricia "Patty" Ann Marcum, a resident of Woodland Country Manor, passed away peacefully with her three daughters at her side on Wednesday, April 26, 2023. Patty was born in Hamilton, Ohio on November 8, 1934 to Frank and Elizabeth (Hudek) Janos. She graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1952. On January 29, 1954 she married the love of her life, Kenneth "Kenny" E. Marcum. She was a member of St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church. She worked several years at Elder Beerman Department Store then went to work for Ohio Casualty Insurance Company. She retired from Ohio Casualty. She and Kenny enjoyed shopping, traveling and spending time with their family. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her daughters and their families, Linda and Alan Andrews, Debbie and Tom Schmidt and Stephanie and Gary Roberts; grandchildren, Aaron and Stacey Andrews, Gary Ray and Rachel Roberts, Jessica and Kevin Brady, Rachel and Cody Farris, Jessica "J.J." and Lee Rogers and Elise Smith and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband of 69 years, Kenny Marcum, son, Kenneth "Kenny" F. Marcum, daughter-in-law, Carolyn (Ingold) Marcum, granddaughter, Rachael Smith, brother, John "Ted" Janos and sister-in-law, Lois Janos. In lieu of flowers, please direct memorials to the Alzheimer's Assoc. or to St. Julie Billiart Church. Visitation will be at the Colligan Funeral Home on Monday, May 1, 2023 from 11:00 AM until 12:45 PM. Followed by Mass of Christian Burial 1:30 PM at St. Julie Billiart Church.
