Patricia Boian

Patricia A. (Sandidge) Boian, age 84, of Hamilton, passed away Friday, August 13, 2010 at Hospice of Hamilton. The daughter of Kenneth and Stella (Bartel) Sandidge, she was born in Hamilton on October 22, 1925. Pat received her education in the public schools of Hamilton and had attended Butler County Business College. On December 28, 1943, in Tampa, Florida, she married her childhood sweetheart, Carl Boian Jr. and to this union three children were born. Mrs. Boian was employed at the Pillsbury Plant for 16 years prior to the plant’s closing in 1977. She was later employed at Mosler Safe Company as a receptionist, retiring in 1987. She and Carl were lifetime members of the VFW Post 1069 in Fairfield. They enjoyed bowling, camping and spending most of their time at their beautiful place at Brookville Lake Resort. Survivors include her children; daughter, Candy (Paul) Hinkel and their son, Paul (Linda) Hinkel Jr. and their children, Wade and Wyatt Hinkel; Pat’s son, Brian (Denise) Boian and their children, Lauren Boian and finace, Matthew Fischer and Tricia (Chris) Zervos and their children, Kathryn and Abigail Zervos; Carlous Boian’s children, Carla (Buster) Kincaid and Kim (Tom) Socha and their daughter, Jada Socha; other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Carlous Boian in 1990 and her dear husband of 60 years, Carl Boian Jr. in 1995. Visitation will be at the Colligan Funeral Home on Monday, August 16, 2010 from 11:00 AM til time of service at 1:00 PM. Burial in Rose Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to Hospice of Cincinnati, Hamilton Unit, 1010 Eaton Ave., Hamilton, Ohio 45013.
