Patricia Hildebrand

Patricia A. Hildebrand, 86, moved to Heaven on Saturday, October 17, 2015. Born March 13, 1929 to Julius and Henrietta Meyer, she was raised by a single mom in a world where single moms were rare. She was raised a strong confident Catholic woman. She married Thomas W. Hildebrand on June 2, 1951 and raised a family of four with him. Patricia was an able bodied, strong willed, hard working woman long before women were thought of that way. Both her husband, Tom and longtime companion, Elmer Alford proceded her to Heaven. She will be deeply missed by her admiring family and will always be remembered for her unconditional love and thoughtfulness. Children – T. Gregory (Kat) Hildebrand, Holly Hildebrand, Gail Hickman and Mary Lynne (John) Chadwick. Grandchildren- Justin (Amber) Hickman, Miles, Morgan and Mallory Chadwick, Matthew and Andrew (Carol) Hildebrand and Amanda (Brian) Chadwell.Great Grandchildren – Madeline and Laura Chadwell, Cassidy Hickman and Penelope Hildebrand. She was a lifelong member of St. Peter In Chains Catholic Church. A member of the Hamilton Boat Club, she spent many happy hours with her family and friends on the water. Her numerous adventures included Keeneland, Lake Cumberland, a trip to Ireland with high school friends and of course, Las Vegas with the girls. Her favorite pastime was playing cards, in one of her multiple bridge or pitch leagues. A highlight of her week was the 2 nights she played at the Amvets. A special thanks to all her friends that continued to make her passion happen. An amazing mother, a giving and fashionable grandma and a great friend and occasional partner in crime, she will be missed by many. Prayer service will be 10:00 AM Saturday, October 24, 2015 at the Colligan Funeral Home. Funeral Service 11:00 AM Saturday at St. Peter In Chains Catholic Church. Burial in St. Stephen Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, October 23, 2015 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ladies Auxillary of Amvets Post 1983, 914 Ross Ave., Hamilton, Ohio 45013.
