R. Edward “Ed” Baker, age 70, of Hamilton, passed away, in the loving arms of his family, on Tuesday, July 1, 2014. He was born in Winchester, KY on November 29, 1944, the son of Clarence and Ola (Snowden) Baker. Ed was a 1963 graduate of Garfield Senior High School. He retired from Mosler Safe Company after 30 years of service and later retired from Bohlke Veneer after 16 years with the company. He is survived by his wife, Pamela (Slayton) Baker; daughter, Susan (Dennis) Craft; sons, Michael Baker and Mark Baker; grandchildren, Christopher, Ericka, Kelly, Rachael and Sophia; great-grandchildren, Braden, Noah, Aaron, Maddie and Christian; sisters, Etta Reynolds and Elaine Miller; special friend, Sharon Jackson; nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, family members and friends, James Jackson and George “Ski” Bruns. Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, July 5, 2014 at the Colligan Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
