Rita A. Huesing, age 60, of Hamilton, passed away Monday, August 26, 2013. She was born in Hamilton on January 15, 1953, the daughter of Edward and Ruth Ann (Purdue) Rutherford. Rita was a graduate of New Miami High School. She was an employee of Champion Paper later known as Smart Paper, from which she retired. She was a member of the Eagles # 407 and the Moose Lodge # 36, both in Hamilton. Rita was a hard worker and artist, she loved to cook, bake and entertain was her middle name. She was a loving and giving individual and would help anyone in need. Rita is survived by her husband of 25 years Eugene “Blackie” Huesing; two sisters, Rachel (Kenneth) Harrison and Rhonda Estep; brother, Ronnie (Connie) Rutherford; sister-in-law, Ruth Ann Rutherford; mother-in-law, Claire Huesing; brothers -in-law, John (Martha) Huesing, Donald (Sheila) Huesing and Frank (Melinda) Huesing; and sisters-in-law, Janet (Leonard) Bierman, Elizabeth Huesing and Marian (Joseph) Klamo; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, many other family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Robert Rutherford. A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held on Sunday, September 22, 2013 from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM at The Eagles #407, 820 Hamilton-Cleves Road, Hamilton.
