Rita Schutte

HAMILTON JOURNAL NEWS THURSDAY EDITION SCHUTTE, Rita Elaine , 81, of Hamilton passed away, Wednesday, February 25, 2009. She was born in Hamilton on April 11, 1927, the daughter of Andrew M. and Anna (Bacon) Kammerer. Rita attended the Hamilton Parochial Schools and graduated from Notre Dame High School. She was united in marriage to Arthur L. Schutte and he preceded her in death October 13, 1980. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Schutte was a member of St. Julie Billiart Church. Survivors include a daughter, Linda (Fred) Meinhardt; four sons, Dennis J. (Phyllis) Schutte of Fairfield Twp., Arthur L. (Carolyn) Schutte Jr. of Liberty Twp., Philip M. (Robin) Schutte of Springdale and Russell J. (Karen) Schutte of Hamilton; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Timothy W. Schutte; a sister, Grace Illner and a daughter-in-law, Marilyn “Mimi” Stiens Schutte. Prayer service will be 9:15 AM Friday at the Colligan Funeral Home, 437 S. 3rd Street, Hamilton. Followed by Mass of the Christian Burial 10:00 AM Friday at St. Julie Billiart Church. Burial in St. Stephen Cemetery.
