Ruth M. Williams, age 90, of Hamilton, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2016. She was born in Cedar Grove, Indiana, the daughter of the late Harry and Rose (Sauerland) Rosenberger. In 1946 she was united in marriage to Maurice “Moe” Williams and he preceded her in death in 1992. Ruth was employed for the State of Ohio Unemployment Bureau for 25 years. She was an avid bowler and was a member of the VFW Auxillary, the Knights of Columbus Auxillary and St. Ann’s Rosary Society. Ruth volunteered her time at St. Raphael’s and Mercy North Hospital. She is survived by her family; three sons, Thomas (Marcia) Williams, Gerald (Barbara) Williams and Dennis (Mary Ann) Williams; six grandchildren, Scot (Brenda) Williams, Stacey Williams, Todd Williams and family, Ashley (Chris) Merritt, Adam (Mandy) Robbins and Lindsey (Robert) Garrett; seven great-grandchildren, Jackson, Colton, Oscar, Taylor, Lucas, Anthony and Camden; brother, Ralph (Barbara) Rosenberger; nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Marianne (Robert) Williams. Prayer services will be 9:45 AM Tuesday at the Colligan Funeral Home, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM at St. Ann Church. Burial in St. Stephen Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to the nurses and staff at Brookdale assisted Living.
