Walter Jones

Walter “Lee” Jones, age 70, of Hamilton, passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2011. He was born December 22, 1940, in Baltimore, Maryland, the son of Clyde and Margaret (Penn) Jones. Pvt Jones, US Marine Corps, served His country with honor from 3/36/1962 – 6/25/1964. Lee was a member of the Monkey Mutual Aid N0 1. He loved music, yard work and was especially gifted with woodworking and was well known for his construction of minature houses.Survivors include his daughter, Lisa (Jerry) Nolan; son Steven Jones; granddaughter, Larissa Jones; great granddaughter, Rylie Jones; brothers and sisters; an extended family; Richard and Pauline Ragan with whom Lee had resided with for the last 30 years; Nora Lyons, George Ragan, Jonathan Ragan, Tim Lyons, Sarah Lyons, Hailey Lyons, Bryanna Jones and Jared Lyons. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at the Colligan Funeral Home from 5:00 PM til time of services at 8:00 PM, Rev George Ragan officiating.
