Wanda Massarelli

Wanda Elizabeth (Fradenburg) Massarelli, age 84, of Hamilton, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2017. Wanda was the daughter of Charles William and Verilie Marie (Mulvaney) Fradenburg , born in Tonti, Illinois on October 12, 1932. She was a 1954 graduate of Kinmundy Community High School and a 1961 graduate of Chicago School of Beauty Culture. Wanda was a member of the FRA Auxiliary (Unit 28 Branch 28) where she held the following offices, Unit Secretary, Treasurer, President, National Chaplain, Regional Vice President and Regional President. She is survived by her children, Dianne (Mike) Savage, Nicky Massarelli and Pat (Mary) Massarelli; grandchildren, Kelly (Justin) Kamats, Tracy Savage, Kevin Massarelli, Nicoli Massarelli, Michael (Nadine) Massarelli and Ben Massarelli; great-grandchildren, Rachel Fuge, Payton Fuge, Caleb Massarelli and Grace Massarelli; sisters, Marie Bryan and Olive (Bill) Mansker and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, HMC “Chief” Nicoli Massarelli USN; grandson, SSG Robert Massarelli; siblings, Ruth (Fradenburg) Schueman, Charles Wm Fradenburg Jr. and Charlotte Sue Fradenburg and daughter-in-law, Joanne Massarelli. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Rita’s School for the Deaf, 1720 Glendale Milford Rd., Cincinnati,Oh 45215, Badin High School, 571 New London Rd., Hamilton, OH 45013 or to your favorite charity. Visitation will be on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at the Colligan Funeral Home from 10:00 AM til time of service at 11:00 AM. Burial in Millville Cemetery.
