William J. Huesing , age 88, of Hamilton, passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at Hospice of Hamilton. Bill was born in Hamilton on November 6, 1922, the son of William and Florence (Griesinger) Huesing. He attended St. Joseph Grade School and graduated from Hamilton Catholic High School. After graduation he was employed as a machinist at Herring Hall and retired from Diebold. He also was a farmer most of his life. On July 5, 1947, he was united in marriage to Claire Wolpert. Bill was interested in geneolgy, loved to travel, was a life member of St. Joseph Church, a member of St. Vincent de Paul for many years and a member of the Sterling Silvers. Survivors include his wife, Claire Huesing; children, Janet (Len) Bierman,Elizabeth “Boots” Huesing, John (Marti) Huesing, Marian (Joe) Klamo, Donald (Sheila) Huesing, Eugene (Rita) Huesing and Frank Huesing; 13 grandchildren; three brothers, Robert (Catherine), Paul (Carolyn) and Mark (Hazel) Huesing; numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. He was preceded in death by four sisters, Kathleen Koelblin, Elaine Rooke, Ann Cropenbaker and Mary Powell. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Joseph Church, 171 Washington St., Hamilton, Ohio 45011or to Hospice of Cincinnati – Hamilton Unit. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to all of Bill’s caregivers, it was much appreciated.
