Donald Ellis Lindsey, of McMurray, PA., passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2011. Beloved husband of Jeanne (Schoeler) Lindsey; loving father of Donald Lindsey, Michael Lindsey and Jean Elliott; great grandfather of five; great great grandfather of three; son of the late Omar and Ethel (Decker) Lindsey; brother of the late Helen Snyder and Omar Lindsey. Mr. Lindsey graduated from the University of Miami in Ohio and Midshipman School at Northwestern as a commissioned officer in the U S Navy. He served in World War II and in Korea. He was associated with Union Central Life Insurance Company since 1952 in various capacities. He was a Mason, a member of the Rolling Hills Country Club and an avid golfer. Donald was an incredible man of integerity and had a loving and generous heart. Funeral arrangements by Beinhauer’s Funeral Home, 2828 Washington Road, McMurray , PA 15317, Wednesday 10 AM til Noon. Additional visitation will be held Friday, July 15, 2011 at the Coplligan Funeral Home, 437 S. 3rd Street, Hamilton from 11 AM – 1PM followed with services at the Greenwood Cemetery Mausoleum, Hamilton, Ohio at 1:30 PM The family suggests that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to the St. Clair Hospital Foundation, 1000 Bower Hill Road, Pittsburg, PA 15243 or the charity of the donor’s choice.
