Photo & Obit for Thursday Hamilton Journal ———–HAMBLIN, Donna J., 60, of Hamilton, Ohio went home to the Lord on Friday, June 5, 2009 at 2:05 PM. Born January 12,1949, she was the daughter of the late Bob and Colleen Frazier. Donna was the beloved wife of Martin Hamblin for 42 years; dear mother of Lee (Rachel) Hamblin, Tina (James) Smith and Jess (Laura) Hamblin; sister of Debbie Miller, Delores Caldwell, David (Debbie) Frazier and Darrin Frazier; she cherished her six grandchildren and two great grandchildren and was excited about the upcoming birth of her seventh grandchild. She was preceded in death by her sister, Denise Riley, whom she loved dearly. She was blessed to have many close friends and extended family. Donna was a devoted Hospice volunteer for over a decade. She found great joy in caring for others. She attended Winton Road First Church of God where she enjoyed participating in the church choir and spending time with her weekly ladies fellowship group.Visitation is on Friday, June 12, 2009 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Colligan Funeral Home, 437 South 3rd Street, Hamilton, Ohio. Funeral service will immediately follow with Pastor Howard Elliott and Brian Buriff officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery, Hamilton, OH. The family would like to extend special thanks to Mercy South ICU staff as well as the staff and volunteers of Hospice. In lieu flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Winton Road First Church of God, 6200 Winton Road, Fairfield, OH 45014.
