Dorothy Jane Witham, age 90, of Hamilton, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2017. She was born in Hamilton, on January 23, 1927, the daughter of Gilbert and Della (Inman) Plyes. Dorothy retired from Ft. Hamilton Hospital, was Past Grand Chief of Phythian Sisters and had enjoyed bowling in her earlier years. Survivors include her children; son, Steve (Barb) Witham. daughters, Connie (John) Brinkman, Trina (Larry) Wurzelbacher and step-son, Jerry Witham; eight grandchildren, Chuck Rice, Sarah Rice, John Brinkman Jr., Caitlin Brinkman, Megan (Brian) Nichting, Steve Witham, Jennifer (Lon) McDaniels and Timothy Witham; seven great-grandchildren, Nathan, Jasmine, Isabella, Lilyanna, Kealan, Olivia and Sophie;sister, Betty (Luke) Crosby; brothers,William (Patricia) Pyles and Eugene (Daisy) Plyes; nieces, nephews and other family members. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joseph Wtham; brothers, George Pyles and Donald Pyles and sister, Mary Pyles. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Butler County Memorial Park Chapel from 10:00 AMtil time of services at 11:00 AM.
