Dr. Erich W. Ringel, age 92, of Hamilton, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2018. He was born, June 6, 1925, in Vienna, Austria, the son of Siegfried and Hildegarde (Bienenwald) Ringel. In 1951, Dr. Ringel established his medical practice in Hamilton. Dr. Ringel was a past president of the Beth Israel Synagogue. Survived by his wife of 61 years, Rita (Kaplan) Ringel; four sons, Mark Ringel, Dr. David (Veronica) Ringel of Ft. Wayne, IN, Ronald Ringel, and Daniel (Allison) Ringel of Mt. Pleasant, SC; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and brother-in-law, Dr. Jerold (Nancy) Kaplan. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gerry Ringel and grandson, Aaron Ringel.
