VITALE, Elvira, 85, of Middletown, died December 30, 2009 at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties. A Middletown, OH native and long time Hamilton, Oh resident, she was born on May 4, 1924, the daughter of Rocco and Emila (Capodicasa) DiCristoforo. She was the loving wife of the late Danny Felix Vitale and loving mother of Marie Carmela McNelis, Daniel Joseph Vitalie and Rosalie Emila Brady. She is survived by brother Rocco DiChristoforo; her grandchildren Ryan and Emillie Brady, Nicholas Gregory Vitale and Daniel Joseph McNelis as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents; her sisters Mary DiChristoforo and Yolanda Fitzpatrick; two brothers, Dominick and Gabriel DiChristoforo. She was a first generation Italian-American. Although her primary goal was always the care and support of her family, she was also instrumental in the long-term success of her husband;’s business, Danny’s Poultry.Visitation will be from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Colligan Funeral Home in Hamilton, OH on Tuesday, January 5, 2010. A Mass will be held immediately afterwards at noon at St. Ann’s Church with burial following at St. Mary’s Cemetery, both on Pleasant Ave. in Hamilton, OH.
