ELLIOTT, Homer A., age 82, a resident of Hamilton, passed away July 21, 2010. Homer was born September 6, 1927 in New Miami, the son of Ora and Nellie (Swafford) Elliott. On November 17, 1956, he was united in marriage to Opal Carpenter. Homer had been employed at Mosler Safe Company, retiring in 1989. He and Opal attended the Westview Church of Christ and later the West Mason Church of Christ for many years. Survivors include two sons, David (Debbie) Elliott and Roger (Deanna) Elliott; four grandchildren, Matthew, Heather, Shannon and Derek ; great grandson, Nathan Childress and a special friend, Carol Kolling. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Opal, three brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be conducted Noon Saturday at the Colligan Funeral Home, 437 S. 3rd Street, Hamilton with Mr. Scott Taylor officiating. Burial in Collinsville Cemetery.
