Jerry Dean Saylor, age 63, of Hamilton, died on Veteran’s Day, Thursday, November 11, 2010 at his residence. He was born March 28, 1947 to Aubrey and Thelma ( Saylor) Kirchhof. Jerry loved his country and very proudly served it in the US Navy for six years during the Vietnam War. He retired from Champion Papers in 1996 after 25 years of service and from Thyssen Krupp Bilstein in 2009. He was a talented bowler, having bowled two ‘300’ (perfect) games in his lifetime. He was also an avid reader. Jerry is survived by his mother, Thelma Kirchhof; three sisters, Karen (David) Alton, Patty Robinson and Faye (Doug) Williams; one brother, Wayne (LuAnn) Saylor. He loved his family and friends with all his heart and truly “Never met a stranger.’ Memorial Services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, November 21, 2010 at the VFW Post 1069 Campbell Gard, 465 Patterson Blvd., Fairfield, Ohio.
