John E Wyrick Jr., age 70, of Liberty Township, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2015. John was born in La Follette, TN, the son of John E and Jessie Kay (Acuff) Wyrick Sr. He was a graduate of Miami University. A3C, U S Air Force, served His country with honor. John was the first “buy here, pay here” car lot in this area. He enjoyed fishing. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Survivors include his son, John (Dina) Wyrick III and daughter, Amber Ames; six grandchildren, Victoria, Brylan, Easten, Colin, Kaden and Brodie; great-granddaughter, Sophia; longtime companion, Geneva Wyrick and son, Travis; brothers, Bob (Ann) Wyrick, Bill Wyrick and Ted Wyrick; sister Janice Wyrick; a niece and many nephews. Preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be Friday, October 9, 2015 at the Colligan Funeral Home from 11:00 AM til time of service at 1:00 PM. Burial with military services will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
