Judy Powell passed away peacefully at West Chester Medical Center November 30, 2011. She was born May 17, 1957 in Sunnyside, WA., the daughter of George Cort and Lillian Bender Cort. On September 30, 1978 she married Richard Powell in Idaho Falls, ID. To this union was born Matthew and Aaron. Judy derived her most pleasure from her family including her granddaughter, Kristine Powell. She enjoyed playing cards and faithfully following her San Diego Padres baseball team.
Judy is survived by her husband, Rick Powell, son, Matthew, granddaughter, Kristine Powell, mother Lillian Griffin, brother, Steve Cort (Cindy), three sisters, Diane Vaulner, Donna Schroeder (Dave) and Pam Cort, many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Aaron and father, George Cort.
Visitation 9:00 – 10:30 AM Saturday, December 3, 2011 at the Colligan Funeral Home, Hamilton, Ohio. Graveside services and burial will follow at West Chester Cemetery.
