Lucille (Herbers) Geier, age 87, of Hamilton, passed away, Friday, October 16, 2015. She was born in Hamilton on December 4, 1927, the daughter of Harry and Frances (Mengelkamp) Herbers. Lucille was a 1945 graduate of Hamilton High School. On June 5, 1948, she was united in marriage to Henry Geier and to this union seven children were born. Many will remember Mrs. Geier from St. Mary’s cafeteria. Lucille was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. A strong but gentle lady who loved life and family. She will be remembered and cherished by her seven children, Dave Geier, Fred (Micky) Geier, Carol (Kevin) Eustace, Ron (Margaret) Geier, Kathleen (Nick) Staarmann, Jerry Geier and Jeff (Gina) Geier; seventeen grandchildren; six great grandchildren; three sisters; a brother; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents; husband of 52 years, Henry Geier; two sisters and a brother. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Berkeley Square Employee Activity Fund or to the Resident Activity Fund. Prayer service will be 9:15 AM Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at the Colligan Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM Wednesday at St. Julie Billiart Church. Burial in St. Stephen Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at the funeral home from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
